“I liked the old fashioned nature of the hotel. I had the impression that the charming lift hadn't changed since the 1920s. It was a change to have breakfast served by waiters from a menu instead of self service from a buffet but I like both kinds of service. The hotel is situated at the north end of the mile and half promenade so wasn't exactly convenient for the town centre but the bus transport was very regular which made up for it. I was able to catch a bus from opposite the hotel directly to……
“I received a warm welcome at reception and was able to store my bag until it was time to check-in, later in the day. My room had a sea view and was clean, tidy and contained everything I required during my visit. I'd happily stay here again on any future visits to the Isle of Man.”
