Dragon Caves Tours

We just returned from a 3 night stay (2 adults and 2 well behaved teenagers). The hotel is in a good location and the rooftop terrace and pool are a welcome addition, especially in the heat. We had 2 adjoining rooms with a central sitting room which worked well for our family. The rooms were of a good size, however, the master bedroom was open plan and the shower, sinks and w.c. were all within the room itself creating a lack of privacy and a general feeling of disorganisation. The staff were mostly friendly, but they did not appear genuinely happy to be there and were often a little cold and uncaring. We often felt as though we were not welcome, which is unusual for such a highly rated hotel. We had one lunch on the roof terrace, but we had to return 3 of the 4 meals because the chicken was extremely undercooked. The chef insisted that this was normal, but we’ve never been served near-raw chicken - it is a health hazard and is not safe to eat. Thankfully the waiter did not charge us for those meals.
