Check-in was @ 3pm CT we arrived at almost 6pm CT and there were at least 10 people waiting in the lobby for a room. We checked in and they said it may be an hour before we can get to our room because they didn't have enough clean lines to get all the rooms ready. We were in a bit of a hurry to go to a concert as most of the other people there were, so not a good situation as we were 6 rooms back from getting one. The desk guys and housekeeping people were working hard but you expect to go right to your room after a 3-hour drive. We got to our room after about 45 minutes and rushed to get ready, the icing on the cake was the next morning when we got up to take a shower, they had never re-stocked the towels. We, shared a towel and went home, expecting better from Holiday Inn, nice hotel just poor weekend planning on their part being sold out and not having enough staff or whatever it takes to accommodate their guests.
