"Marriott property was lovely but unfortunately we came home and found out we contracted a bacterial infection common with traveling. Typically picked up through water or food. Would consider the Marriott not tell guests water is always safe. Maybe consider giving each guest in the room a bottle of water at 500ml instead of 3 smaller bottles. Found it strange that are room had four guest but only received 3 bottles. Finally would recommend not having water stations filled with cut fruit. Looks nice but fruit contaminated in the kitchen or not washed properly could be an issue. Property was nice but will not be returning to Aruba. The same issues exist here as do at other islands but pay a hefty premium for the location. "

At one point we ordered food and they told us no because were ordering too much food, they didn't bring out certain food we asked for. "Would rate the stay 3/5 stars. The property is clean and so are the rooms, staff was friendly and willing to assist. The downside is that before you could view the ocean you have to get past the parking lots, construction to the right, high traffic to the left and a casino up front. Not exactly a relaxing time on the balcony or sweeping views of the ocean. The beach is also poorly organized. It’s a five minute walk and they do provide the shuttle however the umbrellas and beach chairs are limited and you have to be up super early to get the front row otherwise you will be stuck with a view of other beach goers. This is also the only hotel that has their umbrellas slanted and you are not allowed to move them so you can’t really move around with the shade. We ended up taxiing to other local beaches just so we can enjoy our days in the sun also paying for taxis and beach chair and umbrellas so this was a big negative. If you like to sleep in a little later this is a problem. Getting taxis mid day is another issue they do have them but you will be waiting a while so the only solution is to get up super early and start your day which is what we had to do. Will consider ocean front hotel or an Airbnb if I was to make another trip "
