The location of the hotel is great. However, there is no on-site restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast purchased through Bob’s is actually a food voucher that can be used at two nearby restaurants. You may be better off finding a nearby bakery for breakfast yourself, which would give you more flexibility.

The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the activities we planned. The breakfast was delicious. There was always a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Amerikalinjen for your stay in Oslo.

Had a great room with a city view. Construction work going on next door but the double glazing helped enormously. Room clean was generally good but came too late in the day. Requested an earlier clean. Enjoyed the piano player in the lobby. No bar service due to strike. Concierge often not available. Overall, well located and would return. Gep, Melbourne
