Birdie's Nest encapsulates everything you need for your getaway with spectacular views of Lake Oconee and hole 9 of the dramatic Jack Nicklaus designed Great Waters course while relaxing in your cozy cottage conveniently located near the lake and community pool, sandy beach and the day use docks. There are two master bedrooms with king beds. Upon entering the foyer entry to your restful retreat, the first master bedroom is on the left with a bathroom featuring a double vanity and walk-in shower. Across the foyer is a half bath as it opens up to the living room with a high vaulted ceiling, corner fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, pantry and adjacent dining. Watch your favorite game or stream your favorite show on the large 65" smart TV while relaxing in the living room. The other master bedroom is located on the other side of the living room with an ensuite bath featuring a soaking tub and walk-in shower. There are two Queen beds and a bathroom upstairs. Take in the panoramic views on the screened porch while sipping your favorite beverage. Fire up the grill and lounge awhile on the side deck while waiting for your tried and true or a trending new recipe. Your restful nest awaits! Recently updated to allow pets with a pet deposit fee.

Spectacular Cottage on Lake Oconee
Our stay at Birdie's Nest was fantastic. The description provided by the owner was spot on, and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. As soon as we walked in the front door, we were captivated by the stunning views of Lake Oconee and the 9th hole of the golf course. The large windows on the first floor let us view the beautiful landscape from the living and dining rooms and kitchen. The property itself was spotless and appeared almost brand new. The modern design and decor added a touch of luxury to our stay. The two master bedrooms, both with king beds, were incredibly comfortable. The living room was a cozy yet spacious area for our family to gather. Upstairs, the two Queen beds and additional bathroom were perfect for the kids, giving everyone their own space. We loved spending time on the screened porch relaxing and eating. In summary, Birdie's Nest exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of cleanliness, modern amenities, and stunning views made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious getaway at Lake Oconee. The owners were highly responsive to our questions before and during our stay.

Perfect Getaway for 4th of July
Location was superb, great views of lake & golf course - fireworks were right out our back door on 4th of July. Golf course and Lake Oconee were busy and fun. Clubhouse was an easy walk. Cottage was clean and beds were comfortable

Awesome View and Location!
Everything was great. Check-in was a breeze. We never had to contact property manager. Watched the sun rise over the lake while listening to birds chirping every morning. Got to hear a band playing at Great Waters club for memorial day weekend while relaxing on deck. Everything was as good as it could be. I picked it for the view and it didn't disappoint. Highly recomend this cottage.

Great property on the gol& course with a nice view of the lake. Havin to take the trash to a dump site seemed a bit odd and there were houses on th3 street with trash cans out to be picked up. Overall a very nice stay.

Great Waters was Great
The house was all as advertised and more. Great location to everything. Rooms were spacious with bathroom in each. We stayed for golf trip and it was perfect. Great view of lake from back porch and an easy place to relax. Would definitely stay there again.

There were roaches in the kitchen. Porch fan worked on and off and was very noisy on very hot days. Taking the trash to the dump about 2 miles down was very hard and inconvenient.

The arrangement of the house, two king suites downstairs was perfect for two couples. Exceptionally clean with everything needed in kitchen and elsewhere in home. The spectacular view of the 9th hole at GreatWaters and Lake Oconee was incredible (both morning and evening)!! We will return!
