We were never able to check-in despite messaging the hotel. There was no follow-up apart from an automatically generated email welcoming us to the hotel. Management was unaware we did not check in. We were obligated to find alternative lodgings. To date the hotel has still not responded to my message.

7/10 Good! (331 reviews)
The room was small and quite basic but perfect for a 1 night stay. The shower was very good and we were supplied with good quality towels and toiletries. We also had enough coffee for the evening and morning which was a nice touch. The location is excellent with a good selection of great restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. It was really nice to stay just outside of the main city in Leith and it was a comfortable 30 minute walk the next morning for our visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia

"Our room was on the first floor, and it was terribly hot and stuffy in the room. The window had to be opened, but the noise from the busy street kept us from sleeping well.
