"The Balmoral Hotel was impeccable and very clean. The door mans were always very polite and helpful. The location is excellent near the Waverley train station and within a decent walk to Old Edinburgh. The only disappointment was that we had an emergency and wanted to leave one day earlier but the Hotel management refused to give a credit or a even a partial refund. We were forced to stay the extra night since the room fee was very high."

"The staff was amazing! They were so helpful in making arrangements for an amazing driver to St Andrew’s (James) for us. Carlos and everyone at the hotel was very helpful in getting us cars, making reservations and recommendations that were all spot on! The location was awesome as well as our room and all the amenities. Loved our stay!"

"A lovely hotel tucked away behind the Royal Mile. I was advised upon arrival that my room had been upgraded, which was a lovely gesture. Room was modern, clean and very large with a huge bathroom. Whilst they don't offer breakfast, a 15% discount voucher for the Cafe downstairs is provided and a connecting door direct to the Cafe. Food was delicious. Lots of restaurants and cafes are located in the same street."
