My wife an I love this hotel We stayed 2 times here on our vacation. The rooms were excellent and very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable here. Location is a half block off the Royal Mile. Excellent location.

Hotel was nice, and in the center of Old Town. Rooms were efficient, but tiny. Only issues was electric outlets tripped a breaker. We contacted the staff who came to check quickly, but didn’t know where breaker box was (it was in the closet) We eventually found the breaker box ourselves and reset it (took literally2 seconds) because staff was totally clueless on that and offered to put in a maintenance report for the next day. But made for a stressful evening because we couldn’t charge phones before leaving next morning. Otherwise a nice stay.

We gave a 4/5 because we booked our stay last July and got a room on the first floor right next to the swinging exit door and lobby bathroom. You can very clearly hear the doors banging all day/night. If we booked last minute, I wouldn’t care as much. But given that we booked so far in advance, I would have liked a better located room.

Excellent location right off the Royal Mile. A historic building with lots of charm and nice size rooms. Free laundry on-site was a huge bonus! Request a higher floor if possible…some 2nd floor rooms look onto a stone wall. Area is noisy at night so no matter where you stay on the Royal Mile, it will be noisy. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Fraser Suites and front desk staff were very helpful and attentive.
