Everything about The Fingal was so special. The hotel is gorgeous and spotless. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The staff is the absolute best part of the entire experience. They are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable of the hotel and the surrounding city. We couldn’t have been happier to have spent time on board! We hope to come back again!

the staff here is wonderful and a nice job has been done in training the boat into a hotel. the room was very comfortable with a comfy bed and well appointed bath. the restaurant was OK. the water is very harsh on the metal boat exterior so a fresh coat of paint over some rust spots would be good. the red carpet up to the reception area is a nice touch.

The biggest standout that would make me want to come back again and again was the phenomenal staff! From our late night check-in to our morning checkout everyone was top tier. The breakfast was probably my favourite meal of my entire trip! Will be dreaming of coming back for that alone.

The breakfast was outstanding have not had so many options and great food quality before in a 5 star. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, it was lovely meeting them all. I loved the ambiance of the ship and would certainly stay in Leith again because the people there are very welcoming. We even saw the Fingal's manager talking to a few people at breakfast during our stay, he obviously cares about the hotel very much.

The Fingal is a real gem, such a different hotel experience, it’s like being swept back to the days of the titanic, without the fear of an iceberg ! The staff were amazing, and really went out of their way to accommodate us, despite us being late for dinner. Can’t thank the hotel team enough it was an amazing experience.
