The apartment was very clean; no complaints there. However, parking is a nightmare if the one parking spot in the driveway is occupied. One evening we managed to get a parking spot some distance away from the house, however, we were concerned about getting a fine, as our truck is long. Additionally, the host has a little child that keeps running back and forth well into the night. The first 2 nights were dreadful with so much of noise from above. I wanted to send the host a message on the first night, but refrained from doing so in the hope that the situation will improve - no such luck! On the 3rd night, the noise continued until 10.35 (the child running back and forth and making noise). In desperation, I messaged the host and asked if we could have some peace and quiet. She apologised and the noise stopped. However, the next evening was noisy again. The mornings are the same, starting around 7.15am!If someone is going to rent their basement apartment, they cannot inconvenience the guests with noise - this is NOT acceptable! I have no idea if the host realises how noisy they are, resulting in so much stress to the guests.We would be out all day busy with lots of stuff and when we get back to the apartment, we wish we never rented this place, because of the noise! It's really a pity as everything else was to our satisfaction. My hope is that, in the future, Vrbo will do their due diligence with a view to keeping the guests content with their choice of accommodation.
