I stayed 2 nights at the hotel to relax before flying out of the country. I chose this property because they had a concierge room which I wanted for convenience as I didn’t want to leave the hotel. I arrived Saturday and checked out very early Monday morning. Strangely, they never told me where the concierge lounge was or how I could access it. Only on my second day there did I learn they didn’t offer concierge floor services on Saturday and only on Sunday evenings. This was not advertised in their property description on Expedia or the Marriott website. They charged me a “regular” rate for the room Saturday, but that “regular” rate was $50 higher than the regular room charge online. For Sunday I was charged almost $100 more for the room, even though only half the concierge services were offered. No breakfast was provided. When I asked about this my second day there, all I was told was that the concierge room was special but they didn’t explain how. It was small and didn’t offer any special amenities I could see except one bottle of water and some coffee. Based on the property photos on Expedia and the Marriott site, the concierge and “regular” rooms looked the same. To address my concern, the desk clerk only offered me complimentary breakfast on Monday morning but as I was leaving at 4:30 am and they opened at 6:30 am, taking that was pointless. Nothing further was offered. Dining hours were limited and not advertised accurately. Very deceptive advertising.
