A Bright Spot in El Tambo

New and clean hotel that was a true bargain at about US$ 12 per night. Staff was very helpful in terms of places to visit in the surrounding region.

Clean room with private bath was unexpected for their great price. Nice, firm mattress, good kitchen on top floor. Plenty of hot water in bathroom once it runs a while. The host is very nice. It was a nice stay in the middle of our trip between Cuenca and Quito. My kids loved to be on a farm with alpacas, dogs, cats, ducks and birds. They said it’s like a real zoo. :)
