"Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and the food was really delicious at each of the restaurants we tried. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade thanks to my Expedia status which made everything even better. Plus we were offered to enjoy our room until it was time for our taxi to pick us up at 3pm which essentially was an extra day of vacation. That made such a difference, I wish more hotels would be flexible like this. "

The hotel manager called the day of arrival to see if we needed anything, which was very helpful, coming from Eastcape that day. "Firstly, there are two Alegria hotels in Todos Santos. Once is outside of town on the water and the other is in the Historic district, so check you're heading to the right one. I went to the wrong property at first. They are run by a mother/daughter team - Elena and Happy, both of whom are lovely, and was kindly redirected to the correct property. As I was traveling by myself, I wanted to stay in town, but if I was with other people I'd probably prefer the other property. The hotel in town is in a great location, very walkable and lots of parking nearby. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place. "
