Towneplace Suites By Marriott Louisville Downtown

"We just got back from the trip to Kentucky where we stayed at the TownePlace Suites. This was one of the best run hotels I have been to in many years. Every member of the staff was friendly and professional and I was able to interact with them on a daily basis. I was able to see how they reacted to non Hotel guests attempting to make use of the facilities and they did so with friendliness humor and aplomb. On the first day christian helped us yet all of the equipment out of the car and up to the rooms. On the second day we began interacting with Tara who was the closer. Our mornings we saw Mr Bill and we saw that they all genuinely enjoyed their job. The breakfast staff was friendly and always had good fresh food out. I was overjoyed when they brought out the chobani greek yogurt which is one of my favorite breakfast foods. The topping bar deserves its own sentence because I've never seen such a wide selection of things you could put on your yogurt or your oatmeal and I enjoy doing different combinations every morning. Every need that we brought to their attention was taking care of quickly. I highly recommend staying there."

"Our room was spacious and clean. The toilet in the bathroom was really low so if you had knee replacements I would ask about that. The bartender is super knowledgeable about his bourbon and really friendly. Fun to watch him mix drinks, he's like a wizard! We had dinner in one night and that was fabulous! Great wine, fabulous salmon and my husband had the flatiron steak, he loved it. The bourbon seasoned fries were good with that steak as well. Our server was really nice. Everyone is super friendly there. It was our second time and we will be back again!"
