Enjoy the day in a cabin just feet from beautiful Stover creek. This is a perfect location to plan your Appalachian Trail hike. We are just 10 minutes from Springer Mountain and 25 minutes from Amicalola Falls. You will be surrounded by open fields with no other guests next to you. A true get-a-away. Enjoy the main house amenities including a private lobby with Roku TV, mini fridge, microwave, free coffee, business desk, printer, games, books and movies and a full private bathroom. The main house is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin has a portable toilet for night time use and a wash stand. The 6.5 acre property, including a firepit by the creek, outdoor fireplace and barbeque.

The cabin was lovely, and the view was amazing. The pathway from the parking area to the cabin was quite steep, and several times I lost my footing and ended up bruised from banging into the railing, where there was any, and into trees where there was not. The toileting in the cabin was a portapotty with no privacy screening, just sitting all in the same room with the bed and table. The twin loft mattress had no padding at all - like sleeping on a floor. For that reason, I would rate it a 4 overall.

Peaceful, fun stay
We had a great time on our semi glamping, semi "farm experience" stay. The property is isolated and beautiful. Drinking coffee on the porch when the sun hit the fall colors in the morning was really an experience. We met local dogs, several turkeys, and a pig. Our toddler really got a kick out of sleeping in the "barn." Would recommend the owner put an extra layer of foam on the loft bed as my husband said his only complaint was being uncomfy up there.

Happy mountain retreat
what a peaceful and tranquil stay with New Hope cabins! Reggie and his family were simply amazing, tailoring every corner of their residence to my time there--from colorful welcoming chalkboard posts to an immaculately created and charming cabin experience. i'll not soon forget the feeling of walking out to Stover Creek in the early twilight hours nor the peace of being welcomed into his family's home.

Highly recommend!
We came up here over New Year's to avoid the fireworks, and it was perfect. There was a little noise, but not much, and the property is beautiful. Reggie and his family have been incredibly thoughtful about what they provide and how, they're pet-friendly, and the property has a lot of space to be in nature. Note: the mailbox is on the OPPOSITE side of the road from the property. You're looking for a fairly large house with a porch. Where you're staying is behind the house, so you'll want to pull into the front drive.
