You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Modern home w/ year-round mountain view, private 17ac, near orchards & vineyards

Drive up a well-maintained road (any car can make it!) to our home away from home. Start your morning with a cup of coffee in the rocking chair with a view to inspire you. Find your peace on 17 acres of private forest--or drive to the nearby orchards (10min), vineyards (15min), trails (20min), and the quaint towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge (25min, 35min). Then enjoy the distant sound of Ralston Creek as you cozy up by the outdoor fireplace. And at the end of the day, fall asleep watching fireflies dance over the silhouette of Stover Mountain.

Accompanying the private bedrooms is a large loft--a living space unto itself, complete with TV, sofa, mini fridge, and double bed. If you have to make that last-minute virtual meeting, we have true high speed internet (Starlink). Laundry available, hot tub in the cool months (ask about availability), gas grill outside and gas stove inside. Outdoor fireplace is wood burning (we'll leave a starter stack), but inside you can just click a button and warm up with the gas fireplace.

This is my home away from home, and I hope that it can be that for you too! My family has poured a lot of love into making this place beautiful, inviting, relaxing, and carefree.

A few notes:
- This is a rural area, which I assume is what you're looking for! That said, while the house has regular pest control, being in the woods means there will be all sorts of wildlife!
- As shown in the photos, the stairs to the loft are somewhat steep. So care is required with younger children (and adults too!)
- The road in might be intimidating, but rest assured its regularly traversed by the smallest of sedans. Just take your time; it's a short stretch!

It was very clean, not on the beaten path but a short drive from town. We loved the privacy and it was quiet and restful. Lovely views, and loved eating meals surrounded by windows. Was perfect for our few-days getaway.

Very pleasant stay
We stayed at this home for 2 weeks. The house is very well equipped, clean, and everything worked. The house is at the top of a hill off a steep paved entrance drive, then gravel. Before going up or down, pause and take a look to make sure no one else is on it! There are only a few other homes that use the same entrance road so it was very quiet during our stay. The home is about 14 miles east of Ellijay, so in a nice central location for visiting several of the nearby waterfalls.

Family get away
This property is spectacular! It was nested among the mountains and in a very quiet area! It was a great weekend getaway from phones , etc. There was, however, great cell service. The outdoor area was great for grilling and chilling! The fireplace outside was a plus on the cold nights!! And the stars!! Wow! We enjoyed our visit to the quaint town of Ellijay. Beautiful home with all we needed and wanted
I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties in North American and this is one of, if not the best overall. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, extremely well stocked, and was a wonderful get away for the three of us in Elijay for a family event. I was concerned about getting up and down the loft ladder and had no issues at all. The bed in the loft was comfortable as was the big sectional. The house is on a large, private property with lovely views. If you want something remote and extremely quiet, this is it. Communication from the owner was clear and timely.

Amazing Gem!
We were so excited to stay at this property because of the modern features and location. The place had all we needed for a great stay! We took ample advantage of the hot tub and outside fireplace where talked and decompressed. The host was amazing and we will certainly be back for the next decompression trip from Atlanta!

Relax and Recharge
Total immersive mountain experience inside and out. Perfect for a fall visit. Loved chilling on the porch in the hot tub watching sunsets. The perfectly positioned bedrooms windows makes falling asleep with the stars easy. Loved every minute we stayed here and can’t wait to come back. Me time in the mountains
I spent the last few days at this mountain home and it was perfect. I wanted to be away from it all for a few days and this home was exactly what I wanted. I felt very safe and comfy. The grounds are quiet. It feels like a home, not a rental. You can tell this home is loved. The people of Ellijay are friendly and kind. I went just before the festival season and was able to enjoy the area without crowds. My host answered any questions quickly. I can't wait to return for another solo trip or with a few others. Awesome Cottage
We celebrated our 50th anniversary in this lovely cottage and enjoyed our stay so much. Super clean, wonderful beds, and well stocked kitchen. It is easy to get to, in a private location with nice Mountain View. There are several wineries that are a short drive away. We loved Ott farm and vineyard the best.

Best VRBO Stay we have ever had!!
The property and house is even more beautiful in person. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. I will add that the road leading to the drive way does look intimidating, but never gave us a problem and our SUV traveled it fine. The stairs to the loft is more ladder like, so our littlest had to be very careful. The back porch was perfect for roasting s’mores and the view where we drank our coffee every morning was simply beautiful. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and we hope to return again soon!

Beautiful, secluded property where no detail has been overlooked. A well appointed kitchen, which is important as you will want to come prepared to sit down and dine surround by large windows to allow spectacular views.
