“Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable.”

I was also a little sceptical when I saw Belle Vue’s exceptionally high rating, but after staying there, I completely understand it. The guest house really was exceptional. The décor was stylish, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the location and grounds were lovely. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and flexible, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and felt it offered……

“A very good experience to stay in this accommodation, the owner was friendly and nice, the entire environment was good and quiet, the room was big and clean. Breakfast was good, which prepared by the owner. The location was near Cambridge, but just a bit far from the coach station, for me, the distance was acceptable. The hotel is recommenced.”

“If you're visiting Duxford Imperial War Museum, or Cambridge, you won't find a better place to stay. Cambridge and the Duxford Airfield and Museum are only 30 minutes away, with very light traffic most of the time. The motel-like accommodation is great, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff are very affable, and the food is simple but very good. And of course there's a well-stocked bar. The prices are very keen, and there is a large car park. What more could you want?”

“Very convenient location, 9mins walk from station and 7mins walk to start of shopping area. Room was pleasant with lovely large bathroom. Clean bedlinen and comfortable bed. Shower was excellent and spacious. Nice to have coffee machine in room. Breakfast was very good and done to order. My only issues were that to access my room i had to use an outdoor fire escape and walk across roof - this was safe and easy to do but not ideal with luggage, nor was it welcoming.
