"We LOVED stying here! The staff was super friendly and accommodated our late arrival. Hotel has everything we needed for the beach, and it's a two block walk (location can't be beat) to Moonlight Beach, with gorgeous ocean views from the rooms. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Leucadia Beach Inn! The location was fantastic, close to the beach and all the great spots in the area. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and our room was the perfect little space for our stay. Having a kitchenette was such a great bonus and made everything feel that much more convenient. It had everything we needed, with so much charm and a relaxed beach-town feel. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"The deck and view were worth the travel and cost. The second floor bathroom had an ant invasion that was annoying. But the worst thing was the stairway to the beach. We are older and the 300 or so steps were very difficult and broken in places. That should have been included in the original description. The house was very hot when we first arricved, but one day later and a visit from a handyman who repaired the protable AC unit, it finally cooled down. No excuse for that. otherwais, The house was very nicxe but ciulds use some cosmetic maintenance."

Inn at Moonlight Beach

"I've visited Encinitas many times over the years, but staying at the Inn at Moonlight Beach was a uniquely uplifting experience. It felt like a stay at an ashram: peaceful, meditative, and deeply rejuvenating. The details make all the difference. Upon arrival, a small selection of dried fruit with herbs from the inn's own garden and a pot of hot herbal tea were waiting in the room. The room itself was spacious, with an outdoor space facing the garden, which is lit at night with a soft, almost surreal glow. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make you feel welcome and a world away from the hustle of the outside world."

"This is a beautiful property, overlooking the ocean. The deck is large so that we could all enjoy views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. The house is roomy, well appointed and comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary appliances and spices. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and modern.We had our family reunion here and couldn’t ask for anything more! I’m sure we will return."

"Our host Matt went above and beyond to assist us with any issues that came up. He was a truly extraordinary host, gracious, welcoming, and eager to make our stay at his lovely home as comfortable as possible. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with every item you might wish to have (including multiple methods of coffee makers). Our extended family felt very relaxed and grateful to experience coastal living with breathtaking views. Thank you, Matt!"
