The neighborhood feels a bit off with large parking lot across the street but once inside it’s very nice

The Moonlight Beach Motel has been nicely updated recently and the view from the deluxe double room was amazing! There are no frills but has what you need including coffee maker, mini fridge & microwave & you can beat how close to the beach it is. It is very clean & well kept and Jordan at the front desk is very nice & helpful. I will stay here again.

This hotel has been a great place for us to stay on our trip to Legoland over the last few years.

I loved the beautifully landscaped gardens, amazing architecture and the peaceful setting of the inn. The owner is so sweet and was very attentive to our needs. The entire time I was at the inn I felt completely relaxed. The owner provided us with a healthy breakfast which was put inside a picnic basket. It was very nice to have the option to take the picnic basket to the beach or eat on the lovely grounds. I will go back again if I go to San Diego.

Great location with good parking. I enjoyed the walk to Beacon Park and Grandview beach access points. (Both have long steep descents; people with mobility challenges may need to drive to get to easier access.) Nice clean room with kitchenette. Friendly staff.

Beautiful updated oceanfront patio with lounges, chairs and umbrellas that overlook the beach 🏖️. Watching the waves and families enjoying the surf while sipping a cold drink ( available onsite). This hotel is literally on the sand‼️ You can’t stay closer to the beach than the Del Mar Hotel. There are 2 outstanding restaurants right next door. No need to drive anywhere, just relax and enjoy.

The absolute QUIETEST hotel we have EVER stayed in, and the place was full of kids! Same exit as LegoLand so we expected kids and it to be loud. We stayed for an entire week and never heard anything! Occasionally hear the train, but was muffled. Staff was incredibly friendly, and I mean all of them! Even just passing in the hallways or elevators, they would great you and smile. - The hot breakfast (which I didn't know it was included in mine) was awesome. They had egg-based meal, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bread, orange juice, and more (and yes, everything was hot and delicious) - Parking (self-covered) will be just $10, which I think is a really reasonable price. - The place is quiet and safe. Wonderful weekend getaway and beautiful resort. Very enjoyable time..wish we had stayed longer.

Excellent stay !!! We stayed for 3 days and from the minute we arrived you could tell you were at the Four Seasons.All the staff were always smiling and really seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and were constantly checking in to make sure all was well.Our villa was very clean with a nice balcony.This is the second time we have stayed at this Four Seasons and we will be back.

Anniversary trip! Every year we look forward on what city we are going to visit for our golf anniversary trip. This year we decided on Carlsbad CA, at the hotel we were grated by (Manny) at the front desk, very friendly, accommodating and with such great service 100% thumbs up. Overall very nice hotel but $50 resort fee and then another $50 for parking is crazy. I will not return just for this reason.

Perfect location if you're going to Legoland! It took us about 8 minutes to walk from the hotel to the theme park entrance. There's an open gate to get into the Legoland parking lot. The hotel is also located by some nice eating places including Karl Strauss (on the property). Down the street from a Starbucks, Costco, Burger Lounge, 7-Eleven, Carls Jr., etc. If you go down a bit more you'll hit the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. Great resort. It is very beautiful with the Spanish style structures. The swimming pool area is remind me of the Santorini in Greece. I enjoyed two rounds of golf. I love this resort.
