We come to the area about once a month and usually just book anywhere off Expedia but we will be coming here every time now! The hotel was quiet, clean, the outdoor games and pool were great. We also had breakfast there everyday and it was great and easy.

I loved this hotel. I really appreciate the parking availability, the cleanliness inside the property, the staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was amazing. If I return to Carlsbad I will definitely book at this hotel again!

The reception staff was very friendly and was easy checking in. Room was very clean, no smell and very comfortable. When asking for amenities the staff was promptly responsive. We ordered from the restaurant, was not disappointed, was delicious. Nice pool area and basket ball court. Great place for kids to hang out. Negatives: if you get a room near the stairs you will hear people walling up and down (all night long). The bathroom shower door was not easy to open did not slide smooth and made a loud noise. Forgot watching TV on down time, very poor selection.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn in Carlsbad. Had a relaxing stay. Had dinner at the on site restaurant , Stratus and enjoyed a yummy and healthy fish dinner. We then sat down around an outdoor fire pit in the courtyard and then walked around the courtyard. It wasn’t very crowded so our stay was very relaxing and peaceful.
