I loved my stay at the Escape at Nonsuch Bay. It was peaceful, the room was clean and just as it was pictured. The atmosphere was calming and very safe. They views were breathtaking.

There was a major seaweed issue, which I know is not the property’s fault, but we had to move rooms because it was so bad and the smell was so bad. The staff was great in upgrading us for free to better rooms, I just wish we would have known because then we would’ve changed properties. We also didn’t know that they were doing free shuttles to better beaches, or we would have joined in on that. Instead, the only thing we could do was hang out by the pool. Tori Ann was great in setting us up on expeditions. The staff was amazing and so friendly, the food was so so. Most of the time it was very dry. We were just expecting very blue and sandy beaches and we’re disappointed that we didn’t get to enjoy that and had to spend a lot of money for the excursions to actually go to blue water and sandy beaches. Even though the staff more than made up for it, it wasn’t what we had hoped for do the amount of money we spent.

This was our first time at Pineapple Beach. We went in July and were very happy to see that it was not crowded. We were able to get a chair anywhere we wanted without having to wake up at 7am while on vacation to hold one. The restaurant food was delicious. We enjoyed every meal. The breakfast buffet could have been a little better but I’m not the biggest breakfast person so it was ok. We played a few of the daytime activity games and had a lot of fun. We only went on the day trip of shopping to St. John’s. Didn’t need 3 hours there but that was all they offered. We had a pool room which was cute but a little dated. They do give you 2 bottles of water but we had no problems with the bar water. Tasted fine. The staff was hit or miss. Some were much friendlier than others but that didn’t affect our trip. They did a great job cleaning up the seaweed in the morning, but you really can’t control that. Overall I would recommend Pineapple Beach. I would definitely go back in the off season. I don’t love the big crowds.
