“The executive suite at The Inn was absolutely gorgeous, probably the nicest room we have ever stayed in, with an amazing view! However, we didn't sleep great because the bed was particularly uncomfortable, which is a shame because everything else was perfect!”

“Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition.……

“Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.”

“The Royal Oak is in a stunning location and there has clearly been a lot of investment in upgrading the facilities and decor. This has resulted in very stylish, thoughtfully designed, high quality accommodation. The room & bathroom were gorgeous with good storage, a very comfortable bed and good quality fabrics, linen & towels. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We very much enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast, both cooked well and with good quality ingredients. The indoor spaces are well……
