Courtyard by Marriott La Paz Baja California Sur

"It had been a long time since my last visit to La Paz, and the last time I stayed at this property, it was operated by a different hotel chain. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the exterior appeared somewhat neglected. At the main entrance, there was a dead cockroach and a noticeable amount of dirt, which was not a good first impression. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. However, our reservation was for four guests, and the room only had two towels. We requested two additional towels, an iron, and an ironing board. None of these items arrived before we left for dinner. When we returned, the towels were finally being delivered, but the iron and ironing board never arrived. I requested them again the following morning, but they still were not provided. I mentioned the issue during checkout, but unfortunately, we only received an apology. On a positive note, the room itself was very clean, and the restaurant buffet looked delicious, although we already had other plans. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the exterior maintenance and response to basic guest requests need improvement."

"The property itself is in a perfect location with beachfront access. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food offered at this hotel is descent but somewhat pricey. The pool was just okay, often filled with falling leaves from the tree next to it which provides a lot of much needed shade. This property has no elevators and the rooms are outdated but AC in rooms worked great. We would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel is situated in a great location. A few steps from the boardwalk and several quality restaurants nearby. The beaches are 10-30 mins away. The room had two AC units (bedroom and bathroom). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I believed the hotel had a pool but that was not the case (disappointed to find out). The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were too thick for my liking (my partner as well). The floors are wood and they creak when walking. I could hear upstairs occupants when they walked as im sure downstairs occupants could hear us. I still recommend the hotel."

"Staff was super attentive. Spa was amazing! Messages were very good! We had breakfast included, well worth it. Food was great at each spot here. Clean rooms and property. It’s is off from the main area in city but close enough so it quiet area and upscale area. They have a gate to get into property area(which is big). Coming back next year and staying here again. Worth the money"

"J’ai été très satisfait dans l’ensemble. C’est un hôtel un peu vieux mais quand même très propre. J’ai aimé la localisation un peu en retrait du Malecón mais très proche. Il y a un supermarché juste en face. Le petit déjeuner est dans le resto à côté. Pas super copieux mais au moins c’est inclus dans le prix. Seul aspect négatif: il n’y a pas de frigo dans la chambre."
