“The balcony facing the sea was the huge bonus for me. That was why I chose Las Gaviotas. As a solo traveler I did not need the large space. The apartment is very large with large balcony also. Perfect for families, or 2 couples as it offers each a bedroom and each their own bath plus kitchen. Location steps to Malecon, restaurants, cafes, grocery. And quiet for sleeping. The pool setting is very nice with many lounge chairs. Hector the owner is really helpful. I felt relaxed staying here. Would……

“Lots of shops and restaurants near by. Just a few blocks from the malecon. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated being let in early after arriving by ferry. ”

“Check in was smooth ,we got our room 1hour early.The staff were attentive and friendly.The room had lots of space for the 3 of us.Beds were confortable and everything worked in the bathroom.The swimming pool was well maintained.We had a light lunch also and it was okay.Good place for a short stay.”

“I want to start with a big warning which would have me reconsider rebooking in the future. We were told that as of March 21 (the day before we got to La Paz), the beach club was changed to be for members only. This was a big deal breaker for us because we are on vacation and would have liked to enjoy that accommodation of a nice pool with bar service. Had I been made aware, I would have given up the more spacious accommodation for a standard room at the Hotel Indigo. I do want to note that……

The property is beautifully kept with a clean, calming aesthetic, and the pool was a great place to unwind. One of our favorite touches was the bikes—we loved riding down to the malecón for dinner. It added such a fun and local feel to the experience.”
