StAff was too good but room was ok ok not perfect

Good points Check in was easy if you read the emails and use their App. Room was clean. I liked the hands off approach, self check in, no room cleaning or hassles. Get your own clean towels, sheets, toilet roll and so forth from the laundry room on the 2nd floor. Location was excellent, Spar store across road, bus stop for 404 bus was directly ops hotel, Ran good hours and reliable. Room was plenty warm enough, I actually had to keep a window open to keep cool enough at night when sleeping but I'm half polar bear! Negatives. The laundry room didn't have a tumble dryer so not really practical to use to clean own clothing. So I didn't use that. The doors... oh the doors. I believe in an attempt to prevent accidental locking out of rooms without keycard or phone, the doors are set up so you have to slam them very hard or pull with a lot of strength to get them to click locked shut. Now I figured this out immediately and thereafter had no issues. However, the idiots staying there over my trip couldn't figure this out. So there was extremely loud door banging the whole trip as frustrated people slammed and slammed and slammed doors trying to get them to shut. I think at most I had 2 hours sleep without being woken up by this during my stay. Which leads me to the other thing. The floors and walls are paper thin and you hear everything. Some of the guests were very loud during the stay, which also kept me awake and with no staff on hand to deal with.

We loved our stay! Hotel is very charming and well appointed. The staff was very more knowledgeable about the city and activities. We could’ve stayed there for much longer and enjoyed every benefit. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and mountable. In the location of the hotel is ideal and proximity to the nut, museums, Palace, and public transport. We just left this hotel!

Excellent breakfast. Our room needed a bit of a revamp a bit tired, blackout curtains seen better days and also the housekeeping lacking, cups dirty when we arrived and when the room was cleaned during the day no fresh cups provided and tea/coffee refilled.
