We grew up in Evanston and are familiar with surrounding places to stay. This is by far the best in town! The Greenhouse next to it used to have a cute little house that I lived in with my parents and my Grandparents owned at one point. We were attending a family reunion which was within walking distance of the apartment (which is located right downtown). We found the apartment clean, the hosts had provided snacks and water, and there were plenty of clean towels (a big plus for us).
