If the clouds hadn’t rolled in, it would’ve been a perfect night for astro photos. I took a month-long cross-country trip to see the West. One night I ended up here, just a little bit north of the Uintas. I’d never been to Utah before, and I got to the campground well after dark. I had an idea what animals were in the area, but wasn’t sure if any were right around me. After each shot I had to shine my light around to see if anything was stalking me. Luckily I was all by myself, with nothing but the wind blowing through the trees and the sound of the river rushing by my side. #adventure
