On a sunny afternoon, bring your family to enjoy the enchanting scenery here. The Exposition Park Rose Garden contains a charming white gazebo in the midst of gorgeous roses of red and pink.
Purchase food from one of the trucks and stalls beside Jesse Brewer Jr. Park, an open green space where kids can play games. Enjoy a picnic on the grass of Christmas Tree Lane Park.
Turn your attention to the many entertainment complexes on the park’s northern side. See the immense dinosaur skeletons in the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. Adjacent, in the California Science Center, study the Space Shuttle Endeavour that successfully completed 25 space expeditions. Exposition Park is on the southern side of the University of Southern California’s campus, in the southwestern outskirts of the Downtown Los Angeles district. Ride the tram to the Expo Park/USC station or travel by bus to one of the nearby stops.
While you’re in the area, stop at other neighborhood attractions such as the USC Fisher Museum of Art, the Hancock Memorial Museum and the Ronald Tutor Campus Center.
