If you're looking for a historical hotel; its great. Very great location- close to shops and restaurants and the water. That said, no dedicated parking (i was able to find parking 3 blocks away, then found closer parking after 8 pm). Television was tiny. The water is slow to drain in the shower (I get it, old hotel). I will say though the bed was very comfortable.

We loved the Union. It wasn't our first time there and it never disappoints. We had the largest room on the 3rd floor with a 180 degree view and amazing original furniture from the early 1900s. The only small complaint is that the king sized bed could use a new mattress. We didn't sleep well because it was pretty bad, but don't let this discourage you from staying there. Maybe they will read this and put a new mattress on the bed. :)

Unfortunately, this place needs a lot of TLC. Very poor condition and not well maintained at all. Its really sad to see the old hotel rotting like it is. The rooms are dirty and the beds need to be updated. The electrical wiring made me very nervous. This place could be super cool, but it is very run down. Many posted signs hand written with scotch tape. Took away any charm. So sorry to leave such a bad review.

We had a fun time at Union Hotel- our room was huge and had an outstanding view. It was a bit dated. The jacuzzi tubs did not work, and there was a really loud vibration in one wall that we thought might come from the restaurant below, but it stopped at 10pm! Staff was so nice and location was great.
