Excellent accommodation. The rooms are big and the set up for some office space. Excellent stay.

We purchased the breakfast and early check in and out. Our reservation said resort credits but since it didn’t say what those credits were we didn’t get the breakfast we paid for. This was very disappointing to pay extra and not get it but I feel this is expedias fault not so much the hotel’s since Expedia did not specify those credits to the hotel. Very disappointing since we splurged for a date not away from our 5 kids which rarely happens.

This is by far our favorite place to stay when we are in Des Moines! They have never let us down in all the years we have been there, and that says a lot!

The hotel lobby was clean, updated, and smelled great. The room was clean, had been updated fairly recently, but had a few flaws here and there. Nothing major. The breakfast had a lot of choices and it was kept up well. (I do wish hotels would offer almond milk for those of us who can’t drink dairy milk.) In our room you could hear a little highway noise, so I put the fan on “constant” mode and it drowned it out pretty well. Overall we were very happy with our stay here, and we feel like it was a great deal for the reasonable price.
