SAUGATUCK FARMHOUSE, HOT TUB, DOGS WELCOME, FIRE PIT, HUGE FENCED YARD!

THE PROPERTY:
Single level pole barn home, rustic, country feel. Very large open plan living room and new kitchen. Large master bedroom with en-suite toilet / vanity and a separate shower room. Entrance lobby doubles as a work-from-home area and the outdoor space has a fire pit, picnic table, grill, hot tub and is fully fenced (6’ high!)

The property has been decorated fully this year, with a new kitchen and bathroom. We are dog friendly and the property is cleaned to the highest standards.

Two bedrooms, one with king bad and direct access to the bathroom. The second room is cozy had has a queen bed, with direct access to the fully fenced back yard, hot tub and patio seating. Perfect for letting the dogs out in the morning and having a coffee watching the sunrise.

THE LOCATION:
Private countryside is one of the property's best features but it's also minutes from Saugatuck Downtown, the lake and local attractions that include Virtue Cider, Fenn Valley Winery and if you fancy an afternoon of apple picking, Cranes Orchard is down the road; the Dunes Buggy Ride is a must, it's a real hoot for all ages!

The house is secluded within it's own 4 acre lot, giving you privacy for your stay and it provides a perfect location for jaunts into neighboring Saugatuck and Douglas and all the amazing activities there, which made USA Today vote it ‘Top 10 Best Lake Towns in North America US destination’. Doggo will also love the huge fully fenced yard!

GETTING AROUND:
Easy access to downtown Saugatuck, Douglas and Fennville. If you don't feel like driving, the Inter-Urban collects and drops-off at 127th Ave and 60th, which is a short walk to the cabin. The service shuttles people between main attractions along its route and will even come and collect you when you call them! Instacart also delivers groceries!

Very Nice appearance
We are seniors so our criticism is mostly due to the fact that seniors naturally have a few more aches and pains. First of all the look of the Farm House was nice and fun. Thoughtfulness for our dog ws great and to have a fenced in yard was phenomenal!There were thoughtful toiletries and linens available for guests. I appreciated the beach towels but I missed wash clothes. As an old folk with back pain here is serious complaint. The couch was low to the ground and hard to get up from. In fact, it added to our pain. The beds were ok, but had the common problem of a sink-in on the side of the bed from so many folks sitting on the edge. Directions would help for: 1 The smart thermostat 2 TVs: what subscriptions and how to make the bedroom TVs work 3 Info on the jacuzzi

Country Pooch Paradise
This place is incredible! Ash our host… Incredible!! There is nothing he hasn’t thought of to make our stay perfect! Our dogs were in heaven! Huge fenced in property…so much stimulus for canine enrichment! Location was great for day trips.. both north and south on the coastline of Michigan..Grocery store and several small local restaurants within 5 minutes…EVERYTHING was first class!

Relaxing Get A Way
The rental was exceptionally clean! The host Ash had nice little extra things: like extra toothbrushes, nice hand soaps, make up wash clothes, shampoo & conditioners, even a hair dryer & a steamer for your clothes. He was very available by txt for anything we needed & even gave us dinner suggestions… but we had complete privacy at all times. The Hot Tub was nice and relaxing! The bed and linens were so comfy, I didn’t want to get up in the mornings. My husband & I brought our small dog & we all had a great time! Can’t thank you enough! Thanks again 😁 DeLila

Great Pet Friendly Place
The property was very clean and extremely pet friendly. There was lots of space for the dogs to run and play. We will definitely be back. Only thing that would have made the stay better would have been having a washer and dryer on site.

We really enjoyed our time here. While we had intended to explore Saugatuck and do some hiking along the beaches, we opted to relax at the farmhouse on most days. Perfect place for the dogs to play while we napped in the sun

LOVE this place!
Ash has made traveling with dogs easy and relaxing! Beautiful countryside getting to the cabin, and the property is adorable. Sitting on the back patio watching the dogs play in the huge yard felt very peaceful and private. Beds and furniture were very comfy, and the house was very clean. Ash has thought of everything for the dogs. Loved this place and would love to book this cabin again next year. Thank you, Ash, for giving dog-folk a great place to stay!

Lovely country setting
The property was in a lovely country setting. It was very relaxing and quiet. We built a bonfire and hubby got in the hot tub twice. Only reason we didn’t give it a 5 star was because the kitchen could have been cleaner. Dishes in the dishwasher, toaster oven was dirty, and a couple of the cabinets could use a good wipe down. Ash, the owner, was very quick to respond to messages and easy to work with. Our 5 year old loved the area as well.

Amazing vacation spot with your dogs
This place is a dream for dog owners/ lovers. We relaxed in the hot tub and our dogs played in the yard. Lots of things to do in the area, we had several fun dates at Virtue Cider, Michigan Winery, Cranes Orchard. Short drive to Saugatuck and Holland.

Puppers' Paradise
This is the first vacation rental I've seen that is fitted for the canine family members. Dog dishes, toys, blanket, large kennel, spray for "messes", open pathway throughout house, and best of all, huge yard with all kinds of fun smells. No visible people or car traffic, so the nervous pup can have a relaxing stay. We take our dogs to every VRBO, and this really was the perfect getaway for all of us.

Saugatuck getaway
Wonderful getaway spot very close to Saugatuck and all it has to offer, but far enough away from a city to see the stars super clear at night. Ash was wonderful with everything, and attention to detail was excellent. Such a great place, lots of room to enjoy, both inside and out. Hot tub was great to relax in and everything possibly needed was provided. Would love to return!

Great getaway to Saugatuck, MI!
