“When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.”

“Cameo was perfect for us! Clean, modern, well-equipped - but most important was the location! Right in the heart of downtown Halifax, we had dozens of restaurants, museums, and shops to choose from, all within a short distance. Didn’t even use our car in town - there was so much to see and do in a short radius. We especially recommend the Citadel and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The Immigration Museum at Pier 21 was also worth the small admission fee. We were warned that there could be……

“Comfortable”

“1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . ”
