Upon arrival we entered and found the floors very dusty in places, hair in the bathroom, the lamp on the nightstand broken around its base, the large back burner on the stove inoperable, and the fireplace remote could not be located. The BBQ flame panels are rusted through and operability sketchy. The condo was quaint and comfortable. However, when we made our reservation the website stated there was a pull out sofa in the living room. Since we are two senior ladies we wanted our own sleeping space. When we arrived there was NOT a pull out sofa. We went to the local Walmart and purchased an air mattress. Two of the burners on the stores did not work. The ventilation in the bathroom is lacking. My grandson and I took an impromptu trip up north to play in the snow. Since it was just he and I the small space of the condo was sufficient enough. I was a little disappointed that the fireplace didn't work. That was one of the main reasons I chose the condo over a hotel was to warm up by the fireplace after our snow fun. The heater worked so that wasn't a problem. The communication to and from the owner and hotels.com was okay, it wasn't immediate but I did receive replies back. They stated that in some Holmes something it was listed that the fireplace needed repaired. I went back into all my communications and the booking and found nothing where that was noted. I feel the owner should have a notebook stating more specifics of certain operations of the condo's features.
