Large deck to hang out/grill, etc. The river house sits about 40 feet off the water front. The river is great for swimming, tanning, boating, etc. The house is about 15 minutes from Florence, Al. The inside of the home and bunk house was great, very clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The outside deck furniture and chairs around the fire pit were pretty dirty and could use some attention. The barbecue grills were not usable as they were also very dirty with caked residue and rust. They looked as if they had not been cleaned in some time and have been sitting for a while. The place overall is very cute and as described. The yard and river front is beautiful with easy access to the water. But our biggest issue was it not having a pool/spa which was listed under amenities. Granted its at the lake but the river was flowing good after a good rain. We ONLY got the location because of the pool option for the kiddos and the wives to be able to let kids swim while us guys fished. It Really bummed the kids trip as they spoke about the pool for 3 weeks. If we had known there was no pool or community pool, we absolutely wouldnt have gotten this location. Only because of amenities sought-after. The place is a good value otherwise.Owner is great with communication. Area is nice. No dishwashing machine and you are required to clean all dishes, before you leave.
