### Zafferano, Lovely 1 Br Flat In Heart Of Florence By Halldis

Zafferano is located in the very heart of Florence, in Piazza della Signoria, directly facing the iconic Palazzo Vecchio. Despite this exceptional setting in one of the city’s most famous squares, the apartment enjoys a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, offering a relaxing stay.  
  
The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests and features two full bathrooms, ensuring comfort and convenience. It is situated on the 4th floor of a building with an elevator, a valuable feature in Florence’s historic centre.  
  
As soon as you step outside, you are surrounded by Florence’s history and art: all the main landmarks, museums and attractions can be reached within a short walk, making Zafferano an ideal choice for exploring the city on foot.  
  
The public bus service in Florence is provided by "Ataf".   
The nearest bus stop to the house is on via Verdi about 6 minutes walking distance, and the bus n° is 23.  
Otherwise it is always possible to call a taxi calling one of these numbers: +39 0554242 or +39 0554390.  
  
The apartment is located on piazza della Signoria, one of the main squares of the city, which forms part of the Duomo district in Florence’s historic city centre. The Duomo area constitutes the very heart of Florence and the area takes its name from Brunelleschi’s magnificent dome on the wonderful Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral. The Duomo neighbourhood offers an array of beautiful historical buildings and superb piazzas including the Mercato di San Lorenzo, the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica, famous for its attractive cafes, patisserie shops, live music, street performers and caricature artists. Furthermore, the area is surrounded by the city’s main cultural attractions, notably Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Bargello Palace and Casa Buonarroti, the former home of Michelangelo, not to mention the Uffizi Gallery and the museum dedicated to the city’s cathedral “Museo dell'Opera del Duomo”.  
The area also has much to offer in terms of fine dining and exclusive boutique shopping. The top Italian fashion houses are located along Via Tornabuoni, Via Calzaiuoli and Via del Corso and include the famous names of Salvatore Ferragamo, Armani, Versace, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co. and many more. For those choosing an apartment in this area, the Duomo quarter also offers several food stores otherwise known as “alimentari”, supermarkets, laundrettes and individual gift shops as well as being adequately served by the local public transport service.  
  
Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact a private garage. Thanks to the private garage you will obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify they need access for the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.

Zafferano is an elegant 60 sqm apartment located in Piazza della Signoria, one of Florence’s most iconic locations. It accommodates up to 4 guests and features 1 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms, offering comfort and convenience for short or extended stays.  
  
Furnished with refined antique pieces, the apartment reflects a truly Florentine style. Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a small entrance hall, leading:  
  
to the right, the double bedroom with en-suite full bathroom  
to the left, a bright and inviting living room with dining area, perfect for relaxing in front of the TV or enjoying a good book after a day of sightseeing  
  
The living room connects to a second bathroom with shower and a well-equipped kitchen that opens onto a charming small terrace, ideal for a romantic dinner or a quiet afternoon tea.

 We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful apartment. The location is perfect for enjoying Florence. So many positives.1\. The rooms are large and well equipped. 2\. The apartment has beautiful natural light from many windows.3\. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen had whatever we needed to make our vacation exceptional. 4\. Having a washing machine was great. The only negatives were1\. We couldn't sit on the terrace because of the smells from vent from the downstairs restaurant.2\. The water pressure was low and shower hot water ran out quickly. I definitely would recommend staying here.

#### Great location and Comfortable Space with Elevator!

I really enjoyed my stay in Florence. The space I rented was in a great location. Loved having a living room and small kitchen. The views from the windows were spectacular with great light. Loved the small balcony as well. Having an elevator was luxurious and your communications with me were top-notch.

#### Terrific location!

Host helped us out when previous booking was cancelled. Lift in building and excellent location. Staff were very helpful. Two bathrooms, compact kitchen. Great living area and balcony. Recommended.
