Private,Quiet,cabin,on 27 acres,w/ trails. near the Hoh Rain Forest Nat' l Park.

  • Hello.At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this.Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks,gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.

My family of four had a wonderful time at this property. It was beautiful, peaceful, and central to everything we wanted to see. The owner takes great care in making sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We had a wonderful time at this magical place!

This cabin in the woods is the perfect location to recharge as a family. With it being close to the Hoh rainforest and several beaches we had so much fun. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! It was great for our family of four and convenient for visiting the beaches and rainforest. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils. It was such a treat to start the day with coffee on the porch listening to the birds, taking a stroll through the woods, and having a piping hot shower surrounded by trees. We also enjoyed gathering in the gazebo for dinner with friends who were staying nearby. This home is a beautiful and peaceful place.

This was our second stay at this property. We really love the location. Lots of privacy in a beautiful setting. Close to the Hoh Rain Forest. The beach at the end of Oil City Road was an unexpected gem. The owner is very friendly and communicated well from the initial booking until our departure. I'd gladly return again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Central to many of the places we wanted to explore and we got some great tips from Kamala & crew. Home was cozy with lots of games and DVDs to choose from. The tide chart and shoe dryers were extremely helpful during our trip. Make sure to explore Kamala's backyard trail system and check out the slugs. We would stay again if we ever return to the area.

Enjoyed our stay in the woods, very peaceful comfortable Home to stay in. We enjoyed the walks that Kamala has creative through her woods. It is a miniature rainforest. This location is very convenient to the Hoh Rainforest and Ruby Beach.

The location was incredible - so close to the wonders of the Hoh Valley rainforest. Kamela was the best. So nice, and a great communicator. The place was clean and well equipped.

Property is quiet, private and located near the Olympic National Park beaches and several rain forests. It is dog friendly and has a large yard. Host is excellent.House and furnishings are dated, but neatly kept. There is little room to move about inside the house. We were a party of three adults with a dog and it was a bit cramped. But, we were out and about for most of our stay, so this was not a huge problem.

This is a wonderful, cozy house with a fantastic history. The house was clean, spacious, well-supplied, and has comfortable beds to sleep in. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to a return visit. The property is beautiful, especially the trail system through the private rainforest. I enjoyed listening to all the songbirds and owls. It is a short drive to the Hoh and Bogachiel rainforests and incredible beaches. Kamala is a great host and a wealth of knowledge on places to explore. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Outstanding getaway spot for anyone looking to get out of the busy city. The cabin is cozy, the yard and trails are beautiful and Kamala is an excellent host. We are already planning our trip back!
