“It began by not knowing how to get in because the door was tricky and there was a special method in order for the passcode to work. I had to get the resident downstairs to show me how that worked. Next, the thermostat was set at a certain temperature and kept resetting to that temperature which was very uncomfortable. Thirdly, the Wi-Fi code did not work we weren’t sent the correct code. “The beds were comfy and the host kind and responsive, but this unit was far below expectations. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. We saw and had to kill at least 5 roaches in the kitchen. Internet was extremely slow so we could barely watch TV and I had to set up a personal hot spot for my work computer to be able to even read emails. The floor felt grimey and the unit was not stocked with cleaning spray to wipe down surfaces during our stay. This unit felt like a cheap college apartment……

“The unit was super clean and comfy. She was more than accommodating and flexible as we screwed up our check out date and time and needed to change things last minute and she was super easy and kind to work with. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The beds and furniture were comfy. The only thing was when I clicked the link for GPS directions it took us to a very shady neighborhood and it was very confusing trying to find the right place.
