Horrible Stay, Horrible Facilities

Quick summery: No smoke detector in room, took 5 days to be addressed and then only after complaining to corporate and Expedia and threatening to call the Fire Department. Refrigerator wasn't working, again took 5 days to be resolved. Drunks banging on the door at 2 AM. Fights in the hallway with broken glass on the floor, that had to be addressed on our own. Hallways that smell like smoke and weed. Person passed out against the pool fence, told front desk and was told "Its a wild world out there." Pool that wasn't clean and smelled of urine. Eventually turned green. Again, took 5 days and complaints to corporate, Expedia and threats to call Health Department. Also, Expedia was no help. Basically said it was something I had to deal with the hotel on and put me in touch with the manager. Never stay here and I doubt I will be using Expedia again either. One call to Hotels.com about a problem and it is resolved in a half hour.

Worst hotel stay of my life

Pool was out of commission. Our room was located on the second floor. As soon as you got off the elevator, there was a musty smell in the hallway. When we got to our room, we noticed the carpet had not been vacuumed. We had no towels in our bathroom and the sink had long brown hairs. I called down to the front desk and the guy said he'd come up. He did, but didn't do anything. Said he'd be back in 15-20 minutes to bring us towels... That never happened. We decided to go get dinner and as we were getting ready to leave, we found pubic hair on the bedside table. At this point, I was completely disgusted and just wanted a refund. After speaking to the manager, we were told we would be given a refund. I have never felt so grossed out by a hotel and will never stay at another wyndham hotel ever again. Completely unacceptable.

Nice location for our occasion

Pros: Location for our occasion
Location: We were in the location for our great grandson's third birthday and was driven around by someone
When checking in had a hard time understanding the host. We also had to ask for soap in the room.

A lot of people hanging out in the parking lot late into the night. A little worrisome for me.

Dear Valued Guest. Thank you for listing your concerns. At times, during reunion seasons. The guest/families members, haven't seen each other for sometime or are bi-coastal. They tend to go outside to fellowship away from the hotel lobby. I apologize for any inconveniene.

You get what you pay for

The A/C did not cool enough. There was a crack in the restroom sink. There was a tile that was fallen off of the base of the restroom. The vent cover was hanging off. There were stains on the bed runner. The hotel had an off smell to it. The breakfast area was not cleaned after people used it. The breakfast was not hot.

Fourth time staying at this hotel, but not again

Pros: first night was okay, but elevator broke next morning and was very hard to get up the stairs.
Cons: Offer 1st floor accomodations for someone not walking very good when elevator quits working, or else a discount.
not going to comment as experience was NOT a happy one. Told the desk clerk this was my fourth time to stay here, but told him to tell Wyndham to never look for me again.

Overbooking vs rain pour down in Dallas

Booked my accommodations x 1 week before trip and received confirmation number..... was raining like all hell in Dallas traffic jams everywhere and hotel calls at 520pm and said I did not have a room because they had overbooked but they would help me get another room at a different hotel....... so on and so forth ... after 20 minutes they said they had a room for me. You know the story.....

Hello JJ, Thank you for your comments. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the storms and the hotel's communication. Those storms were bad and knock out power to several businesses and residence around our area. The elevators were this may have caused problems throughout. We had some guests that could not continue their travel plans and had to stay over as a result of said storms. There were some reservation we had to cancel because of it. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you again.

Everything was great until I woke up one night and found a lot of baby roaches on the counter. Killed about 8 of them. Did not notice them again.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly gave us a room even though they were booked up.
