"Stayed here for a night. Orlando, the owner, welcomed us and showed us the room. He was very nice and hospitable. The room was clean, I liked the interior design of the suite we got. We met two kittens who were friendly. If you like cats, they will gladly enter your room. If you don’t, you might want to consider. They are very sneaky going inside, but they are cute. "What a unique place. Really cool landscape. The view is perfection. Food was fantastic. Beer was fantastic. It is such a unique place. We did really enjoy our time there, though short. Would have been an epic place 20 years ago when the skate park, tennis courts, arcade game, and air hockey were all in usable condition. Servers were nice, the beer was great, the food was amazing, and the restaurant views were so cool. "

"We stayed at this resort by chance for one night due to starting our vacation early because of winter weather in the states. I prefer more authentic Costa Rican hotels/resorts vs a chain hotel close to the airport. While the taxi ride was more expensive, I felt it was worth it. It seemed secluded, was quiet, the rooms were extremely clean, there were thermal pools as well as a nice pool area and the included breakfast was definitely a plus! The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced! We had the pleasure of talking with Julian, who was a joy. I always love to learn about different cultures and people from other countries. Would highly recommend this place if you're considering this area. I would love to go back and spend a little more time in this area. My only suggestion is to add a golf cart or something to take people and their luggages to their room. We were at the very back of the resort and it was a bit of a walk with our luggage. All in all a great stay!"

"Everything was amazing at The Hideaway, from the beautiful room to the absolutely breathtaking property and the wonderful staff. We had such a memorable experience here we will never forget. We did the night walk and saw birds, snakes and red eyed frogs! The food was amazing for dinner at each restaurant, and the breakfast was incredible. Don’t hesitate to book here, you will be lucky to enjoy this wonderful environment. "
