"We had a fantastic week in Martin and Petra’s lovely cottage. Lots of great walking (if hilly!) and cycling opportunities. We visited Freiburg, Titisee, Donaueschingen and a few wineries. Enjoyed the visits from the chickens and cats and watching the swallows swoop past. Very restful and highly recommended."

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"A great place to stay. The house was absolutely lovely. Very clean and comfortable. There is a bakery in the village about a minutes walk away which is delicious. The house has a lovely patio outside and a garden. The hosts Marie Antoinette and Robert did so much to make us welcome and ensured we had a super holiday. They are the best hosts. Anyone who stays here will certainly love the property and the hosts!"

"Nice house in the woods. Would have liked to use the spacious tub. My only suggestion would be curtains in the kitchen and livingroom for those guests that may want privacy. Everything we needed was there for us. Thank you so much!"

"Our family of 7 adults stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights. It is located on a quiet residential side street but is only minutes away from all the main attractions of Colmar. We greatly appreciated the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and also the two parking spaces inside the gated driveway. "I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. I don’t think it was as good as other Premier Inns I’ve stayed in. The room wasn’t terribly comfortable, the sofa bed we needed definitely wasn’t. The shower was poor and while I understand that you don’t need the room cleaning everyday it’s no fun waiting at reception to ask for more loo roll! I am sorry to write a less than positive review but this hotel was not a great part of our holiday - but the lovely city made it worth it. "
