Top Funato Hotel Reviews

Asakusa Tobu Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great location right at Asakusa, close to multiple train lines, restaurants and shops. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Taxi pickup can be tricky sometimes due to the busy street/intersection it's on and being right across a train station but not a major issue. Would stay at this hotel again!"

APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae Minami

8/10 Good

"Rooms were small but the location was great! And there’s another location with similar name which caused a bit confusion. The Taxi driver took us there initially. It’s very close to one another as well. Overall, the hotel was clean and they provided lots of amenities."

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Marunouchi

10/10 Excellent

"The recently renovated hotel rooms were a great improvement from my stay 2 years prior. Great service. The staff was accommodating in changing our room immediately due to the unpleasant odor in our 1st room. The amenities were great with minor flaws to the laundry facility & small gym. Overall a great location & hotel for future repeat stay."

Onyado Nono Asakusa Bettei

10/10 Excellent

"I enjoyed my stay here very much, clean rooms and facilities, great location for seeing some Asakusa sights at night, which beat the daytime in ambience! I also love that I was able to step out into seeing Asakusa before the crowds arrived, which felt very calming and felt more authentic to me. Most importantly, the staff are very wonderful and welcoming, as well as helpful! I checked-in late due to delays and they were very understanding, as well, I received help from staff for bringing luggage upstairs check-in and before check-out as well. They were very polite and courteous and I enjoyed chatting with them, especially at check-in. It was a complete contrast from my previous stay in Akasaka, and I’m so grateful that this was my last stay before flying home :) One thing is that I had stayed in the same chain’s Kanazawa hotel recently and couldn’t help comparing them a bit, including the smaller rest areas after the onsen, but they also have massage chairs which the Kanazawa one doesn’t have. I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!"
