It looks like someone has put effort into repainting, updating furniture, and freshening up the overall appearance. While the improvements definitely help, it is still an older property with thin walls and the typical structure of an older motel. Our stay was not bad overall. The room was decently clean and the towels were clean and fresh. The two beds had different sets of sheets, but both appeared freshly laundered, so that was not an issue. The parking lot was full of what looked like well maintained vehicles, and we were able to park very close to our room, which was convenient. The biggest challenge for us was the noise. The walls are very thin. The guest in the room next to us was coughing and snoring throughout the night, and it honestly sounded like he was in the room with us. That made it difficult to sleep comfortably. If I were in a tight spot, I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice. The hotel clerk was helpful. The heater was not working in our room and he was able to move us to another room without any issues. While furnishings are updated, walls could be washed and/or painted especially in the bathroom. Tub clean but shows signs of wear. Hotel sits next to a main road, but surprisingly we heard very little traffic. Overall, this is a very no frills hotel which suited our needs.
