"A great place to stay to get some rest before your next travel. Convenient and close to the interstate. Great choices on breakfast, staff is friendly. The only downside is there is no elevator for those that need that but I’m sure the hotel will place those in need on the first floor. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Rancho! We stayed in the old part of the hotel where the rooms are named after movie stars who stayed in them. The room was cleverly decorated to fit the theme. The halls are also filled with photos of movie stars who stayed there .The lobby and sitting area is spectacularly appointed with a Western theme and interesting artifacts. We took an interesting and informative tour of the hotel with Leroy who told us a lot about it's history. Don't forget to try to find the book in the bookcase that opens the door to secret room if you stay there!"

"A very basic room. Close to freeway. Far from most of the city's restaurants, stores, etc. I am amazed when I find a hotel room in 2026 without a small dedicated desk/workspace where you can sit down and work with your laptop. But, this was one and that was my major complaint."
