A Beachside Retreat!

Summary:
Beachside Retreat is a fabulous 2-bedroom 2-bathroom located at the Seascape in Galveston. You can walk right outside to either the pool or the ocean.

The Space:
Beachside Retreat is a fabulous 2-bedroom 2-bathroom located at Seascape Resort in Galveston. Our condo will comfortably sleep 8 guests


You can walk right outside to either the pool or the beach. The inside is light and bright with open concept living and dining areas.  The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a regular coffee maker.


The master bedroom has a king bed and the second room has a queen. There are also galley bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. Each room has its own flat-screen television. For guests' convenience, a washing machine and dryer are located in the unit.


Seascape is one of a handful of complexes located beachside in Galveston. You will not have to cross a busy street to get to the beach. Guests at Beachside Retreat also enjoy all the amenities offered by Seascape Resort including a beautifully landscaped courtyard/pool area, seasonally heated pool, 2 hot tubs (one for adults only), gazebo, beach observation deck, beach side BBQ and picnic area, and private parking.

We had the best time in Galveston and the stay at Seascape was awesome. Chose this place(castle as my granddaughter would call it) because it was on the beach. Didn’t have to worry about crossing the busy street to the beach. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning for our beach getaway

Great location and property, condo needs some love
The location and property were fabulous. The condo had a few issues: exhaust fan in main bathroom did not work, GFCI outlet in bathroom off bedroom did not work, refrigerator takes 24 hours to comfortable cool food and drinks, 2 stove burns couldn’t not be used due to fire hazard, and there was a thick layer of dust of top of refrigerator, around chrome molding, and kitchen decorations.

The condo was in a great location, plenty of other beaches and restaurants nearby. Kitchen is fully stocked and plenty of bath towels. You may want to plan ahead when it comes to Shampoo and conditioner. Bottles are tiny sample sizes. This condo comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids. The pull out sofa in the living room was super comfy! Overall it was very homey and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tubs are clean and we had a great time!

On the beach, sister weekend Galveston Texas
Booking was easy and we received early checkin which was great for us since our flights arrived early. Walked into the property and the place is so cute and beachy. Clean and stocked with what we needed. Loved the patio for morning coffee. Easy access to the beach and also enjoyed the pool. Everything was perfect for us.

If you intend on sleeping 8 people, you will definitely need to bring a foam mattress topper for the sofa bed. It was very uncomfortable. The other beds were great. Nice area. Very friendly staff. We will be back.

Galveston visit
Great location. Nice pool and hot tub. Beach at complex was being improved so could not really be accessed easily which was a problem for us but will not be in the future. Quiet but not far from the action. Not well stocked if you plan on eating in all the time but was perfectly adequate for us. Would go back

Sea Scape Condos are on the beach
Great stay again. Would be five star except condo needs updating. The chest needs to go and a table is needed in its place. Balcony is awesome with numerous chairs. Drain on balcony needs to be cleaned. Dishwasher didn’t work. Toilet broke but was quickly fixed. New sofa would be good addition too. Washer and dryer are a huge plus for this unit and a reason we chose it again. This is our fourth year at sea scape. Second time in this unit. Beach is great. Pool is great. Love this place.

As advertised! Very nice property.
The condo was actually more well appointed than most of the beach houses I have ever rented. Great location! Out of the seawall hubbub, but close enough to where we Uber everywhere easily and inexpensively. Highly recommend!

Decent property near to the beach. Property is not cleaned enough, the toilet has stains and even after a request from property manager it was not cleaned. The apartment is not well furnished with all the required amenities such as body wash and shampoo and the blender was missing the jar and which made us wonder what's the use of a blender. Even after a request with the site manager this was not provided. Communication from site manager is very poor and does not respond. No flexibility in cancellation as deposit is non-refundable.

Seascape is great, this condo needs an update
The Seascape complex is fantastic and the private beach access is great. This condo, however is not the best. I'm guessing the owners haven't been there in a very long time. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the pillows were deflated and lumpy. The towels were nice and there is a washer/dryer in the condo which was an added bonus. However, the view is of the RV park and partial ocean. The decor looks like someone bought every cheesy, beach-related knick-knack from one of those giant beach stores and put them all in the same 500 square feet. The decor and furniture are in desperate need of an update. This condo has potential but needs to be super cute on the inside to counter-balance the not-so-great view of the RV park.

Family Birthday Weekend!
We had a nice time, the property is very nice and the pool and beach access are great. The condo is good but the cookware was a bit of a miss match but we did manage. The beds were not very comfortable but the overall place was very nice. We did enjoy our stay. I would just suggest a thick mattress pad on the bed? Really is a nice place and we had a great trip. Love the property, security and amenities were top notch.

Great direct beach access
Great place! Check in was a bit of a hassle for a few minutes since the guard was juggling multiple people at once. All was great otherwise. I’d recommend this place for the direct beach access and the pool. The inside was totally fine and with no issues.

This place was AWESOME and family friendly! Unlike a lot of the other resorts/hotels - this was one on the same side as the beach so we didn’t have to cross busy streets to get to the beach - it was right outside our room. The pool was clean and well managed! The workers are very friendly. Our room was exactly as pictured but exceeded our expectations! It was great! Book the trip!!! Do it!!!
