“We had such a peaceful, relaxing stay! Being surrounded by nature and having the comfort of the cabin was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful, as was the cabin itself. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked. Check-in was easy and Erika was responsive to communications when I had a couple little questions. The outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs were great, and we loved the boardwalk and quiet beach. So glad this stay was dog-friendly! Would stay again.”

“For a first timer being nervous it was really good. All the things it said it would have it had and more. It was nice to be off the grid and away from people. Plenty of bath towels and extras. I was use to a gas grill and this was a charcoal, so needed to provided own charcoal. But otherwise it had all the things to make meals as far as utensils went. ”

“This welcoming cottage was the perfect location for our family get away. Plenty of outdoor seating, and a beautiful view from indoors provided our family time to enjoy nature every minute. The cottage was impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable, and we had what we needed to prepare meals indoors and outside. The location was convenient to many of the main attractions that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Our favorites include Miners Beach in Munising, Fayette Historic State Park, and the……

“We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin. I grew up in the atea and am very familiar with the location, so although I had never been back by this group of cabins before, I knew the general location would be wonderful to stay in. The view is gorgeous here, especially the sunsets. The water is super shallow and my kids loved walking out as far as they could. They also loved playing in the sand on the beach. “This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures……

“The cottage house had everything we needed, and of course, you cannot beat the view from the back deck! My friends and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent here again. One note: If you are mobility impaired, the bathroom shower is a bit small. ”

As soon as you walk in the cabin you feel at home! My sister and I loved it so much we had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back! “Lovely location with beautiful sunset view, beds were comfortable, plenty of fans and there was a space heater for a cool morning. It was nice to have Netflix but there was only 2 users allowed. Might want to consider investing in a better Netflix subscription. ”

“Excellent get away to relax and unwind, do a little fishing, swimming, two tracking! It’s great because it’s midway between Manistique and Munising about 20 minutes both ways, we loved it! Lots to see and do!”

“Beautiful spot and exactly how it was described. The solar power system worked great and lasted a while. The lake was peaceful and calm. The hosts were great and allowed privacy with a separate drive. Nice remote area. Great scenery, tranquil, and peaceful. Great place to stay and definitely would stay again. The hosts are easy to get ahold of and super helpful about the area and the cabin! ”

“This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!!”
