“The room was very small and the air conditioner was loud but it did work well. The problem was either you left it off for quiet, or turned it on to cool off the hot room but the loudness would keep you awake at night.The room and clean and the bed was comfortable. The motel is walking distance to stores and restaurants. A short drive to Pictured Rocks. This is a decent place for those on a tight budget.”

When I tried to get a different room, the front desk said the hotel was fully booked and they cleaned the carpet that day which was the reason for the fan. “The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night.
