The good - new furnishings, lots of space, strong internet (best I found in town), nice to have fridge/mircrowave/coffee in room, good water pressure in shower. There are elk around, and appreciated that the receptionist gave clear warnings to keep an eye out and not get too close.
The bad - they advertise that all rooms have a mountain view, but mine was directly into a stairwell. I tried to post a photo, but hotels.com won't allow it because it flags it as blurry, which is only because there is literally no natural light in the room. I asked to switch rooms as I was staying 4 nights (and working remotely so spending a good amount of time in the room) and was told this wasn't possible. It is surprisingly noisy for a new building - I could hear every footstep in the rooms above me, conversations/tv next door on both sides (including one night when my neighbor fell asleep with the tv on all night), people walking up/down the stairs and traffic on the street (although this was background noise compared to the rest). There were hundreds of small flies - there is a light you can't turn off above the door, so any time you enter/exit at night they flood into the room, you can't open the windows, and it was impossible to enjoy the patio area. The room wasn't especially clean - high touch surfaces like light switches were noticeably dirty.
