"An oasis in Nice! Good size and well appointed rooms. Great location close to the beach and old town. Easy to get to from the airport. All in all, it was an excellent stay and we would have liked to have stayed longer."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior!! The hotel was very close to the train station and the staff were especially welcoming and friendly!! The room was beautifully maintained and clean, and we even had a small balcony that allowed us to enjoy the warm air of the French Riviera!!"

"The room was very clean and as expected however the staff was absolutely horrid. The front desk check in staff did not inform us that breakfast costs an extra fee and I even clarified that it is included to which he later denied. We also requested to borrow beach towels and they also did not inform us of a charge for those. On top of that their amenities were misleading as the casting system to the television was broken the entire stay. When asked when it would be fixed, they simply said it...

"I arrived at the hotel after departing a cruise to drop off mg luggage around 9:30 am. Amazing, a young woman, helped me. She said I could check in between 2:30 or 3:00. I returned about 2:00 as I was extremely exhausted and needed to check in. I am 77 years old and it was very hot in Nice. She brushed me off. At 2:30 pm I tried again and she would not give me a room. I paid a premium price. Meanwhile, a man came in, was given his stored luggage, and she checked him in with every courtesy....
