Housekeeping wasn't done every day. On most days, we had to put out the sign saying service was required before our room was cleaned. It took a while for water, towels, and robes to be brought to the room. The breakfast was okay, although there weren't many options available. During my stay, a fire broke out in an adjacent building and spread into the hotel. The hotel had no fire alarms, and the only way I was notified about the fire was through a friend. Some guests were in the middle of massages, and the masseuses left them on the massage beds when they heard about the fire. The hotel needs proper fire training from top to bottom. Smoke from the fire had gotten into the building, and when we used the stairs to evacuate, we could barely see or breathe. The hotel made no attempt to refund guests for their unfinished massage sessions, accepted no responsibility for the fire, and offered no compensation whatsoever.
