“We had a wonderful time and rarely left the property! We stayed during the week so the campground was quiet. The cabin is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The decks overlooking the river were a favorite spot for coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evenings. Although we did not get into the hot tub, it did look lovely. Our water time was spent in the river where we saw deer, a hawk diving and catching his dinner, fish jumping and even a beaver! We love the cabin and...

“Our stay was outstanding. The accommodations were perfect for a weekend couple get-away in the woods. Our unit was clean and very well furnished and decorated. The surrounding property was spectacular. We had the pleasure to meet the really nice hosts, and even got to tour the other rentals on the property. We will definitely be returning in a future visit to Berkely Springs. Fun little town. Take a hot mineral bath at the Spa just like George Washington.”

“The oculus was a great place to stay for our family over the holiday weekend. We had more than enough room for the kids and the location was close to many areas to hike, as well as mountain lake club. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor area was fantastic. We would stay again!”

“Our time away here was just what we needed as we celebrated our 35th anniversary. We loved the privacy and away-from-it-all feel. Appreciated the available movie DVD’s. Hot tub was great!. The home was lovely with spaces for relaxing well thought out. Communication with the host was excellent . Just a few suggestions for consideration…..a step stool for the hot tub would be helpful for those of us with back issues, and the linens could use some refreshing. “Stayed in Mountain Mama’s cabin for three nights with my brother to share some precious time. Our cabin far exceeded expectations…clean, well decorated, river views watching bald eagles fly by ….all excellent. Mountain Mama’s had excellent communication and accessibility..even their own app. All their houses look amazing. Will return again.”

“We had an amazing time at this beautiful, clean cabin. It was the perfect escape to kick off the summer and celebrate my husband's birthday and the end of the school year. We enjoyed watching the deer come right up to the house! The house was well stocked and exactly as described.”

“The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!”

“This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!”
