"The facilities were excellent. They had a hot tub, which we didn't use. The kitchen had all things needed for any microwaveable food, and a refrigerator for food storage. It is an excellent staging area for hikes in the area, with multiple hiking opportunities in the nearby. The staff went out of their way to please our every wish. I would highly recommend staying there. This is not a kid friendly location."

"I had requested an ADA room but was told they didn’t have one. I thought all hotels were supposed to have at least one room that was ADA. They did put us on the ground floor even though it was more costly because they only had “suites “. We walked into a regular room with a queen bed, fridge and microwave. lol nothing special. Man at the front desk was very polite and helpful. "

"We were at the resort right after a snowstorm so we were not able to use most of the amenities, but the cabin was very nice and all the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The one negative was the bed was very squeaky, it had a double bed with a twin bed (bunk setup) on top. I don’t know if the bolts needed tightening or what, but every time we moved (even just moving your hand) it would squeak. The fireplace was nice and kept the cabin warm. I would definitely stay there again if I get back to that area."

"Ok, the person I met at reception was friendly. But after that it went down hill fast. The whole building seems very run down and the walls very thin. I could hear conversations in the next room easily. There was no kettle/coffee maker, just a rusty microwave and small fridge. The better parts of my experience were the shower, which seemed a recent renovation project and the bed, which was very comfortable. However the room was extremely noisy, with loud traffic noise all night from big rigs and trucks passing regularly disturbing my sleep. From the pictures, it looks quaint and “old world” but I shouldn’t have believe those pictures, in my opinion it’s very overpriced and would still be, even at half the price I paid."
